EDDIE®s World(June 17-21, July 22-26)
Get ready for the trip of a lifetime with the world's largest child as your traveling buddy! EDDIE®s World takes campers on a journey through, up, and around EDDIE®s house. Take a closer look at the human body, discover how food travels from the farm to the table, explore the lifecycle of a butterfly and try your hand at becoming a veterinarian and engineer! Grab your lab coat and get ready for a week of giggles and goggles! Designed to excite and capture the attention of our smallest scientists, Giggle Science campers explore science through mixing, measuring, mashing and experimenting in a real laboratory! Campers will have fun getting their hands dirty while creating alien boogers, erupting volcanoes, rockets, crystals and more!

Ignite your culinary curiosities with a week of Edible EdVentures! Campers will enjoy a week of Kitchen Science in our NEW Cooking Lab, Taste Buds. Campers will use food to discover architecture, math and science. Campers will create delectable insects, devour their way through the layers of the earth and create their own healthy eating handbook with lots of fun recipes to make at home!

Junior Firefighter (August 5-9)
Let’s go! Take a seat on our 24-foot fire truck during this blazing week of firefighting fun! Junior firefighters will learn how to be safe around fire, what to do during a fire, and how to call 911. Each junior firefighter will receive a special certificate showing they’ve learned the essentials of fire and life safety during this fun-filled week.

Discover what the Maker Movement is all about! Campers will unleash their imagination in this fun week of creative thinking as they make things, take them apart, and share their knowledge. Campers will create stuffed animals, explore printmaking, and discover simple robots as they see how the world works through art, science and engineering.

Spa Science (June 3-7; July 8-12, June 10-14, July 15-19, June 24-28; July 29-Aug 2)
Bouncing bubbles, foaming monsters, and bath bombs! Learn how to make your very own bath supplies and the science behind them. Campers will make bath crayons, masks, scrubs, bubble bath, soaps, and even perfumes! Spa Science Campers will also learn about makeup and how it is used in theatre (it's not just for girls!). With daily bubble parties, this camp is sure to be full of smiles and suds!

Held in our new cooking lab - Taste Buds, this camp will be cookin' up an interactive learning experience everyday! Campers will learn about nutrition, healthy eating habits, and receive their very own apron and cookbook.

Tinker, create, design and MAKE! In celebration of the Maker Movement, Tinker Toys is entirely devoted to exploration and creativity. Your little tinkerer will experience what it's like to design and create their very own products. From burlap animals to squishy circuits, soldering and simple sewing, your young inventor will learn the true meaning of DIY and the art and science behind it all!

Four-Alarm Fire Camp (June 10-14, July 15-19)
It's go time! Find out what it takes to be a South Carolina firefighter. This searing week of camp is taught by educational specialists from the South Carolina Division of Fire and Life Safety. Four-Alarm Fire Campers will visit the South Carolina Fire Academy and participate in a real recruit school! A graduation ceremony will be held at the end of the week where campers will receive a special certificate showing they've learned the essentials of fire and life safety. (For each special off-site camp day, parents will drop off and pick up their camper from the specified site).

*BioGene-ius! (June 17-21)
Become a BioGene-ius in EdVenture's BioInvestigations Lab! After learning about proper safety techniques, campers will gear up for real experiments in genetics. Campers will make DNA models, grow fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster), and practice drawing conclusions from their results. Learn about mutations, their effects on disease, and how to prevent them. Get ready for some mind boggling fun!

Creativity comes together in EDDIE's MakeShop! Channel your inner engineer as you explore some of Earth's major problems, build a robot and program a microcontroller! Campers will explore EdVenture's new maker space and use tools to design and create with everyday materials.

Become the next top chef in EdVenture's new nutrition lab, Taste Buds! Take your cooking and baking skills to the next level as you cook tasty treats and savory dishes. Campers will explore the science behind food, learn essential cooking methods and bring home recipes that the whole family will love!

General Information:
Drop off:
Complimentary drop off is 8am daily. Camp begins daily at 9am. Campers should be dropped off using the front entrance of the museum.
Pick up:
Pick up is at 3pm (with proper ID). Extended day services are available from 3-6pm for an additional $30 per camper per week. Extended day pick up is at 6pm (with proper ID).
Food/Snack:
Camp EdVenture provides two snacks per day for all campers. If your camper has any food allergy, please provide snack for that camper and make note of that allergy on the medical authorization form. Campers are to bring their own non-microwavable, non-perishable lunch. Camp EdVenture can provide lunch for campers at an additional $28 per camper per week. Campers must be registered at least one week prior to camp to receive this option. If you choose to purchase lunch through EdVenture, here is our Summer Camp Lunch Menu!
Monday: Ham and cheese sandwich on Whole Wheat White bread, Lay's Baked Doritos, and Apple Slices.
Tuesday: Grilled Chicken on Whole Wheat Wrap (with cheese), Fresh Celery & Carrot sticks, and Strawberry yogurt.
Wednesday: Cheese quesadilla on Whole Wheat wrap, Lay's Regular Baked Chips, and raisins.
Thursday: Turkey and cheese sandwich on Whole Wheat White bread, Baked Pretzels, and a Fruit cup.
Friday: Grilled Cheese sandwich on Whole Wheat White bread, Baked BBQ chips, and a Chocolate chip cookie.
All meals will include a juice box or bottled water.
Clothing:
All registered campers will receive a Camp EdVenture t-shirt. Campers are required to wear their camp t-shirt daily. For your child's safety, campers are required to wear close-toed shoes.
Valuables:
We encourage campers to leave valuables (including all electronic devices) at home. Camp EdVenture will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Lost and Found:
If a camper does misplace any items during Camp, items will be placed in the lost and found at the Welcome Desk. We encourage parents/guardians to write the camper's initials on jackets, backpacks and lunch boxes.
Camp Registration Information
Registrations cannot be accepted by phone.

EdVenture Children's Museum is not licensed to host camp for children who are not completely potty trained or under 3 years of age. All campers must be registered for camp based on their age at the time of the camp.

Late Registration:
A late registration fee of $25 will be charged for any camp registrations not received one week prior to the start date of that camp. Late registration fees must be submitted with the payment for camp.
Camp Confirmation:
You will receive an emailed confirmation upon completion of your online registration. Your confirmation email will include your confirmation number and information about Camp EdVenture.
Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel at least two weeks prior to the start of the summer camp, we will refund your tuition less a $50 registration fee per week. If you cancel with less than two weeks notice, no refund or credit will be given. EdVenture reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class if minimum enrollment is not met. Parents will be notified at least seven days in advance of any changes in schedule. Tuition paid due to a cancellation will be refunded in full.
