Forty-feet tall sitting down, EDDIE® is the world’s largest child! You’ll be amazed as your journey leads you inside his brain, heart, stomach and other body structures.

Roll up your sleeves and explore a real fire truck in Dalmatian Station, a child-sized grocery store in The Speckled Hen Market, a John Deere tractor in our farm, an actual Volkswagen Beetle in AutoWorks and keep the jobsite going in Building Boom.
It's time to crank up your ingenuity and imagination in Maker Works - EdVenture's new workshop for tinkerers, inventors and artists alike. Designed for ages 5 and older, Maker Works provides the space, materials and tools. You supply the ideas and the imagination.
The Great Outdoors
Become a scientist by uncovering the wonders of hydropower, solar energy and recycling while testing your knowledge of landfills, electricity and conservation.
Transformed in 2009, this garden now is the home of Blooming Butterflies - a 2,500 square foot enclosed outdoor exhibit housing hundreds of butterflies from May-October.
Just for children three and younger, this gallery encourages activities in a unique campground setting with a “from the mountains to the sea” theme. Don’t miss the shrimp boat!
Through simulated body scans, interaction with 3D models and analysis of the human body, you'll uncover the mysteries of how our bodies work. Explore your 'inner scientist' in The Body Investigations Lab and study the prevention of chronic diseases in The Body Detectives Lab.

Wags & Whiskers
Unleash your imagination and take on the role of pet owner, veterinarian or groomer in this new permanent exhibit emphasizing responsible pet care, from the choice of your family pet to the best way to care for animals. Diagnose ailments, choose the appropriate treatment for your furry friend and learn the importance of spaying and neutering.
Located in Taste Buds - our new cooking and nutrition lab - you can explore the methods of cooking and nutritious meal preparation under the guidance of a real chef. This permanent cooking space offers hands-on classes on cooking up a healthy lifestyle.

Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice™
June 7 through September 14
In the steamy "Land of Fire," visitors experience the sizzling prehistoric home of the Triceratops and T-Rex. Children don insect costumes to buzz through a volcano with oozing lava or a swampy bog, and identify an ecosystem of animals and plants. A frozen trip across the "Land of Ice" introduces visitors to a Troodon and Edmontosaurus, two dinosaurs who made their homes in cold climates.
