Full Museum

When you choose to rent the entire EdVenture facility, you have access to all eight of our world-class galleries, all meeting space and program rooms, use of our catering kitchen and our Imaginarium Theater.
Full Museum: $3,000, Full Museum + Terrace $4,000

The Congaree Terrace
(capacity 1,500 guests)
Celebrate under the stars on our new 12,000 sq ft terrace. Overlooking the Congaree River, the Gervais Street bridge makes a beautiful backdrop to any event! The spacious outdoor space provides ample room for a stage, lounge area, food and beverage set up, dance floor and seating. Perfect for a wedding reception, prom, gala, or an addition to the first floor, theater, Canal Room, or full museum rental.

First Floor
(capacity 745 guests)
What a party you can have on EdVenture’s first floor! This beautiful space includes four world-class galleries, all meeting space and program rooms on the first floor, use of our catering kitchen and our Imaginarium Theater. For an additional cost, you can also rent the beautiful 12,000 sq ft terrace overlooking the Congaree River.
First Floor: $1,500, First Floor + Terrace $2,750

Imaginarium Theater
(capacity 125 guests)
EdVenture's Imaginarium Theater is the perfect venue for presentations and meetings. This spacious room is located on the first floor of the museum and is equipped with wireless access and a catering kitchen.
Imaginarium Theater: $250 (4 hours), $500 (8 hours), $500 (evenings, after 6pm)

The Canal Room
(capacity 380 guests)
EdVenture’s Canal Room is the perfect place for your next business meeting, conference or seminar! It is equipped with five plasma screens, wireless access and a catering kitchen. Extra A/V amenities are available upon request.
Canal Room: $300 (4 hours), $500 (8 hours), $750 (evenings, after 6pm), Canal Room + Terrace $2,000 (evening only)

Program Rooms
(capacity 35 guests each room)
Located on the second floor, EdVenture’s two program rooms are great for smaller functions such as business meetings and baby showers.
Program Room: $150 (4 hours), $250 (8 hours), $350 (evenings, after 6pm)

Board Room
(capacity 25 guests)
When is the last time you had the joy of a meeting in a room with three walls of windows, giving you views to the beautiful outside world? EdVenture’s Board Room is an exceptional and memorable space for meetings. The room is equipped with wireless access and a “U” shaped table with chairs. The Board Room also included ample room for food and beverage set-up.
Board Room: $200 (4 hours), $300 (8 hours), $350 (evenings, after 6pm)
Parking
No problem. We are one of the few downtown venues to offer free on-site parking. Parking for your event is sure to be trouble-free for your guests.
A/V Rentals
Audio/Visual requirements are an additional fee and can be arranged when booking your event.
Nonprofit Rentals
Bring your next fundraising event to EdVenture! Discounted rates are available for nonprofit organizations that are able to provide proof of their 501c3 status.
Kitchen
We have a full-sized catering kitchen located just off the Imaginarium Theater and a second kitchen on the lower level adjacent to The Canal Room. You are welcome to bring food or have a caterer for no additional fee. If needed, EdVenture can provide a list of preferred caterers available from which to choose. Caterers not registered with EdVenture are welcome with proof of insurance and a business license.
Deposits/Fees
All facility rentals require a 20% refundable* deposit within 30 days of booking your reservation. The remaining balance is due within 45 days of your event. *Deposits will be refunded only if a cancellation is made in writing 45 days prior to the event. Any evening event may incur additional cleanup or security fees, please discuss this with our Sales Manager.
