EdVenture Children's Museum is the perfect setting for a variety of
big-city gatherings such as receptions, reunions, cocktail parties, proms,
rehearsal dinners, business meetings,

Fees & Capacity

Full Museum (all galleries)
$2,500 for up to 500 people
$3,000 for up to 1,000 people
First Floor Only (all galleries on first floor)
$1,500 for up to 500 people
Rental includes four-hour access to exhibit areas, theater, catering kitchen and all
other public spaces during non-business hours. Each additional hour is $312.50 (or half
price of the actual $625 per hour). Non-profit organizations
should inquire about rental discounts.
Individual Spaces (no gallery access)
Individual spaces are rented on a half-day (2-4 hours), full-day (4-8 hours)
or evening rate (available 6-11 p.m. only) with a minimum
rental of two hours. All full-day and evening rentals may
use our catering kitchen.

Additional Charges and Availability
Additional Services/Charges
- Additional charges may be incurred by the renter if food and/or beverages are
supplied by someone other than an EdVenture approved caterer.
- Clean up/waste removal fee ($1 per head) for food and beverage supplied by
vendor other than approved caterer.
- Tablecloths are available to rent for $14 (white
only). Table toppers are available to rent for $7
(choose from green, orange, blue or combination).
- Security is required for all evening rentals at $30
per hour.
- Guided tours for adults of EdVenture's unique
hands-on exhibits are available for $6.50 per person for
groups.

Museum Hours for Day Rentals
- Monday – Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon – 5 p.m.
- Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
Museum Hours for Evening Rentals
EdVenture's after-hours facility rental for the entire facility may start no earlier than
one hour after closing (5 p.m.) Standard facility rental time is 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Event ending
times are flexible.
Other Rental Policies
Deposit/Cancellation Policy
A 20 percent non-refundable deposit and a signed contract
are required within two weeks of scheduling an event to hold
the space and date. All facility rentals require a signed
Space Rental/Client Services Agreement. The balance must be
paid 48 hours prior to the event.

Alcohol and Tobacco Policy
EdVenture is a smoke-free facility. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the museum during
operating hours. Alcoholic beverages may be served during non-operational hours only to
people ages 21 or older.
Decorations
Open flames (except small votives), fog or popcorn machines, helium balloons and pyrotechnics
are not allowed inside the museum. The museum does not provide table linens
(unless rented) or other decorations.
Catering
EdVenture has sought and approved a number of local caterers based on their consistent level
of quality and service as well as variety of offerings. These caterers will be required to
sign an approved agreement and provide a certificate of insurance.
Renters will be given a list of preferred caterers, contact names and phone numbers.
It is the renter's responsibility to contact the caterer and arrange all food service details.
For proms and other non-profit events, EdVenture will allow food to be supplied by renters
rather than caterers. This will be decided on a case by case basis and a damage deposit may
also be required at the museum's discretion.
