EdVenture’s Winter Play Land!

Enter a make-believe world of imaginative play when you visit a seven-foot polar bear in the North Pole, learn about the penguins of the South Pole, get creative in an igloo-building activity and discover more about the science of snow and ice. Snowville spans two floors. Go upstairs to visit the North Pole region and its inhabitants, and then come downstairs to explore what creatures call the South Pole home.

Other Snowville favorites include:

  • Crawl through an ice tunnel and slide down a snowy hill
  • Strap on some carpet skates and play a game of ice hockey in Big Ed’s Arena
  • Toss some snowballs in the Frigid Forest
  • Go ice-fishing in Gotta Fish!
  • Take a joy ride on a musical snowmobile
  • Bake some pretend muffins and sit by the fire after you check into the Snowed Inn
  • And catch a snowflake on your nose as a blast of cold air swirls around you

Challenge your knowledge in an exciting new science program called Brrr! Have you ever wondered if snow is colder than ice? Learn this and more with wacky experiments and scientific fun that teach you all about winter weather. Showtime is 2 p.m. on Saturdays through February 27.
