If you're a pro when it comes to administrative duties, art, events and more, we'd love to hear from you as opportunities arise! Together we'll bring the joy of learning to South Carolina's children.

As an Events Volunteer, you have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by helping with major FUNdraisers and exciting educational events.Signature events that benefit EdVenture include Beakers & Broomsticks, EdVenture After Dark, Farmville, New Year's Eve at Noon, Girls Night Out, and EdStravaGanza…just to name a few! As an Events Volunteer, you can join us for one event, all events, or anything in between! Assist with set up/clean up, registration, greeting visitors, providing directions, creating crafts or other opportunities that may be a good fit for your experience or expertise.

You will be contacted to confirm receipt of your application and provided with a list of any upcoming events. Orientation and training will be provided the day of the event.
BioInvestigatorsTake part in EdVenture's BioInvestigators Youth Development Program (BI)! This program will mentor students towards students towards studies of and careers in biomedical science, bioengineering, and biotechnology. Complete a specified number of volunteer hours and you'll get to put new skills in action in areas like public programs or assist with specific museum programs like Camp EdVenture, Family Nights, and special events. BI's are students in grades 7-12 who are trained to work in exhibit interpretation, facilitate activities on the exhibit floor, help with BI Lab birthday parties, and much more.
