FAQs

Q: What is your payment and cancellation policy?

A: 50% of your total party cost is required in order to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due at least five (5) days prior to your scheduled party date. If payment is not received, your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. Cancellation within two weeks or less of your scheduled party date are non-refundable.

Q: What is the cost of additional children or adults for my birthday party?

A: Due to our limited capacity, no additional children or adults are allowed. You must let us know your final head count 48 hours in advance.

Q: Is outside food permitted?

A: Yes. We do not provide any food. You will need to bring all food, drinks, ice, plates, napkins, utensils, etc., that you will need.

Q: What do you provide in each room?

A: Tables, Chairs, and Colored table cloths.

Q: What if I want to extend my party time?

A: Party times may not be extended past the 120-minute time frame. You do have 15 minutes prior to your party start time for set-up and 15 minutes after your party for break-down.

Q: How early may I arrive for my party?

A: You and your guests will have access to the museum all day. Your private party room will be available for you 15 minutes prior to the time of your party.

Q: May I bring my own decorations?

A: Yes! We encourage outside decorations. You may not use masking tape, glue, thumb tacks, pins, etc. to hang up wall decorations, and you may not hang anything from the ceiling. We suggest painter's tape.

Q: Is there anything you do not allow in the party room?

A: Silly String, Confetti, Hanging Piñatas, Sterno Cans, Glass items, Hot Plates, Alcohol, Fog Machines, Water Balloons, Bubbles, Outside Food, and Outside entertainment such as Clowns and Characters.

Q: I purchased a EdVenture Membership after booking my Birthday Party - can I get a refund for the difference between the Member and Non-Member price?

A: We are more than happy to establish your EdVenture Membership and schedule your birthday party at the same time. If you purchase a EdVenture Membership after your party is scheduled, we are not able to refund the difference. We encourage Non-Members to consider all of the advantages of an EdVenture Membership, especially a Premium Membership because parties are free for those members!

Q: Are birthday parties available at all EdVenture locations?

A: Yes! - All three locations offer birthday parties. Please allow 48 hours for a response in regard to birthday parties.

Parents of party guests are required to stay for the party. Party rooms comfortably hold 35 guests. Party reservations are first-come, first-reserved. A 50% deposit is required at booking.
