Join us most Saturday’s in May for Maker Saturdays at EdVenture! These hands-on pop-ups invite guests to get creative, explore new skills, and dive into the world of making through fun, guided activities. Each session runs from 11:00–11:45 AM and 12:15–1:00 PM, with locations varying throughout the museum.

May 2 – Sewing Pop-Up 
This Saturday, we will guide guests through the basics of sewing as they learn a simple stitch and create their very own felt bookmark to take home. It’s the perfect introduction to fiber arts and a fun way to build new creative skills!

May 9 – Cyanotype Sun Prints
This Maker Saturday guests will explore the art and science of cyanotype printing. Using sunlight and simple chemistry we will create stunning blue-toned prints. Experiment, design, and watch your artwork come to life in the sun!

May 16 – Recycled Canopy Creations
This Saturday guests will use recycled materials to create leaves for the Fossils to Futures canopy. Along the way, participants will explore different material types and learn how to build, attach, and repair using a variety of fasteners.

School’s almost out, and we’re flipping the switch to SUMMER! Join us for our Annual Kickoff to Summer event! Children will enjoy hands-on activity stations filled with crafts, games, and playful learning, all designed to inspire and engage as they prepare for a summer full of fun! 

Join us for Mascot Meetup Day, a mascot-tastic adventure (or should we say “Ed”Venture!). Come see our mascot friends from all around the community and beyond for an energy-packed day of high-fives, fist bumps, dance-offs, and photos. Kids can meet, mingle and snap pics with their favorite local mascots all in one place, while enjoying all the fun EdVenture has to offer!
