Theme: Bugging Out

They soar above our heads and scurry beneath our feet. They creep, they crawl, they do it all! This month we will magnify the tiny and fascinating world of bugs!

Age 4-5: Cute Critters

Not all bugs are creepy and crawly! Let’s put our Reduce | Reuse | Recycle skills to work as we craft our very own cute lady bugs. And who knows, we might learn about some other bugs, too!

Age 6-7: Bug Bites

We are bugging out to share an EdVenture favorite, broccoli “bug” bites with our homeschool friends. Students are sure to love this savory snack!

Age 8-10: Lightning Bug Bot

Let’s bug out with robotics! Using a few gears and gadgets, we will create a motor powered, fast moving and adorable lightning bug.

Science and Literacy collide in this storytelling adventure. We will learn about some of our fellow scientists by recreating their epic experiments!

Age 6-7: Bean There, Done That

There is nothing more exciting than watching elements of our favorite stories come to life! We’ll combine our crafting, engineering, & math skills to create a beanstalk even the most gargantuan giant can climb down!

Age 8-10: Recipe Reading

Students will participate in an exciting group exercise, the “Recipe Reading Challenge” in which they will work together through a recipe and create a dish to eat and share!

Theme: Come On, Let's Grow

Spring has sprung, and the Earth is waking up. This month we will discover the wonders of the natural world. From flora to fauna, wonder is sure to blossom!

Age 4-5: Bitty Bots

Program our Ozobots to collect all the eggs from the garden. Be careful though, there are some hungry critters who are trying to steal them!

Age 6-7: Floral Investigators

Ever wondered what’s inside of those beautiful flowers? In this class we go below the surface to the insides of the plant kingdom. Using microscopes, we will zoom in to see what the buzz is all about.

Age 8-10: What's Old is New

We can all do our part to ensure the beauty of Spring on Earth never goes away. So why buy all new toys when there is a world of possibility waiting for us in the reusable bins! Put your crafting and imagination to test with used items to create cool and nature preserving creations!

Theme: Dynamic Dinosaurs

Students will travel back in time to when dinosaurs ruled the Earth! Each activity will enhance the student’s knowledge of these fantastic creatures. A prehistoric journey through the footprints of giants!

Age 4-5: Delicious Dinosaur

Our dinosaur egg frittatas are sure to be a new favorite with our friends visiting in May. We will enjoy a dino-mite reading selection and tasty treat!

Age 6-7: Reduce, Recycle, & RAWR!

We will dust off materials from times past to resurrect the great giants that once roamed the Earth. Recycling gives life to old items just like we will for our dinosaurs!

Age 8-10: Dino Bones

Dinosaurs lived a long time ago! How do we know that they roamed the earth? Fossils! Join us as we recreate some of our favorite dinosaur fossils and take a look at how they form, different types and maybe even a real fossil!
